Do I need a credit card to sign up?

Yes. A card is required when the owner account is created. The establishment fee is not billed for the first 90 days, and the owner can cancel any time before then.

How is the PAYG platform fee set?

The PAYG platform fee is a percentage agreed for each site. It is applied to the fee base after card processing and GST and is shown in the owner portal. EVM8 does not publish a single across-the-board percentage.

When is the establishment fee charged?

Accepted Answer

On day 90 after signup, never at signup. It is $360 plus GST for the first 10 charge points account-wide, then $36 plus GST per additional charge point.

Can I switch between PAYG and ANNUAL?

Accepted Answer

Yes, at any time. Switching from PAYG to ANNUAL costs $25 per charger plus GST, waived once per account per calendar year. The annual term starts on the switch date.
